This notice explains what personal information Watt Boyz Ltd ("we", "us") collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. We are the controller of this information under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect
When you contact us or send an enquiry
Your name, organisation, email address and, if you give it, phone number, plus whatever you tell us in your message. For hosted TAK enquiries we also collect the term, number of devices and start date you choose.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking, and the site sets no cookies. See ourcookie policy.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information for us under contract:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and security)
- Formspree, Inc. (delivering website form submissions to our inbox)
- Microsoft (email, through Microsoft 365)
Some of these providers are based in the United States and may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards in their data processing terms that are recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work: 12 months from our last contact. Customer records: 6 years after the end of the contract, which is how long we have to keep them for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Email david@wattboyz.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
